Police have arrested a suspect from an armed robbery that took place on June 14 in Stratford
Troy Morris, from Lindenwold, allegedly robbed a TD Bank on the first block of the White Horse Pike back in June when he reportedly handed the teller a note demanding cash before running away on foot. Police released pictures of Morris which turned out to be crucial in eventually catching and charging him with armed robbery.He is currently at the Camden County Jail with a $100,000 bail.
When a person possesses a weapon in the course of a robbery, he or she is charged with armed robbery which is a first degree crime. First degree crimes carry the most severe penalties in New Jersey. If Morris is convicted, he will be subject to 10 to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison, 85 percent of which will have to be served before parole eligibility.
