Lindenwold NJ police are searching for two men who allegedly committed credit card fraud at a local convenience store.
According to authorities, the theft incident occurred in early May at the Super Wawa located at 421 South White Horse Pike in Lindenwold, New Jersey.
Lindenwold police are actively investigating the alleged credit card fraud. At this time, investigators have yet to identify the suspects.
During the investigation, police obtained surveillance video footage that shows two black males entering the convenience store and committing the fraud. One of the suspects has short hair and a beard. According to police, the suspect was wearing a t-shirt reading “Killa Season” on the front. The other suspect has short hair and was wearing a gray shirt, dark-colored pants, and a large necklace.
Lindenwold police posted the photos on the police department’s website.
If police are eventually able to identify and apprehend the suspects, significant criminal charges would likely follow. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:21-6(h), anyone who knowingly uses a counterfeit, altered, forged, lost, or stolen credit card to obtain money, goods, or services can be charged with a third degree felony. A conviction for third degree credit card fraud could lead to a sentence of 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.
