Camden County police are searching for a man accused of committing a homicide in Camden, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the 19-year-old suspect shot and killed a 35-year-old male in Camden, NJ. The shooting incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. outside the All American Gardens apartment complex located on Phillips Street.
Investigators have identified a suspect in the case. Police said that the suspect is approximately six feet tall and weighs roughly 190 pounds.
Law enforcement recently released photographs of the suspect. The photos have been posted on local billboards.
If police do eventually catch the suspect, he would face severe criminal penalties. Murder is considered the most serious crime in the New Jersey Criminal Code. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:11-3, first degree murder carries a potential penalty of life imprisonment in NJ State Prison, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years.
