Gloucester Township police arrested a man who allegedly had a large stash of child pornography in his home.
According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, the 49-year-old suspect was in possession of more than 1,000 images and videos of child pornography. He reportedly stored the illegal pornography on several electronic storage devices. Additionally, the suspect reportedly had a large collection of illicit pornographic images that had been printed.
Camden County police allegedly discovered the pornography when they executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home. Law enforcement obtained the search warrant after the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit discovered that child pornography had been uploaded and downloaded from the suspect’s IP address.
The large pornography collection allegedly included videos of an underage girl’s genitals. The girl was reportedly sleeping when the photos were taken. At this time, authorities have not revealed whether the suspect had a connection to the victim.
The suspect has been charged with multiple sex crimes, including manufacturing child pornography, distributing child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
After being placed under arrest and charged in the case, the suspect was taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility. He was being held at the jail on a $350,000 bail amount.
