Gloucester Township police are searching for a man who allegedly committed bank fraud at a local bank in September.
The incident reportedly occurred on September 29 at 8:00 p.m. According to authorities, the suspect pulled into the drive-thru at the TD Bank located on Blackwood-Clementon Road in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
The suspect is said to have been driving a gray Saab wagon from the early 2000s. The car reportedly had a roof rack.
The suspect allegedly withdrew $300 from a bank account that did not belong to him.
Gloucester Township police have investigated the fraud incident for more than a month. However, law enforcement has not been able to identify the suspect.
If the suspect is eventually identified and apprehended, he would likely face criminal charges for check fraud and identity theft. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:21-17, identity theft resulting in less than $500 being stolen is classified as a fourth degree crime and carries a potential sentence of up to 18 months in NJ State Prison.
