A Brooklawn NJ police officer tipped off Evesham police about the whereabouts of a trio of shoplifting suspects.
According to law enforcement, the male suspects stole a large amount of merchandise from a Target store located in Evesham Township, New Jersey. The merchandise that was stolen from the Target is said to be valued at thousands of dollars.
Evesham NJ police later posted photos of the shoplifting suspects. Not long after the photographs were posted, a police officer with the Brooklawn Police Department recognized the suspects because all three of them had previously been arrested in Brooklawn, which is part of Camden County, NJ.
The Brooklawn police officer notified Evesham police, which immediately prepared arrest warrants for the suspects.
Sometime later, the loss prevention team at the Evesham Target store contacted local law enforcement and said that the suspects had actually come back to the store.
The suspects were allegedly in the process of stealing Dyson vacuums when Evesham police officers arrived at the scene and placed the men under arrest.
The three suspects, all of whom live in Westville NJ in Gloucester County, have been charged with third degree shoplifting. All of the suspects were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia because the arresting officers allegedly found them with drug-related items.
After being arrested and processed, the suspects were taken to the Burlington County Jail. They were each being held at the jail in lieu of separate $10K bail amounts.
