A Camden New Jersey man was recently indicted on charges of murdering two people earlier this year.
The suspect allegedly shot and killed the two victims at a residence located on the 500 block of South 8th Street in Camden, NJ. The Camden County Police Department dispatched police officers to the scene of the shooting after receiving a report of gunshots being fired.
When law enforcement arrived at the house, they found the two victims inside the residence. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the victims was a 33-year-old man, while the other victim was a 50-year-old man.
Camden County detectives investigated the shooting and spoke with neighbors who might have witnessed the fatal shootings. A few days after the homicides, police located and arrested the suspect.
The suspect is a 32-year-old male from Camden, NJ. He was charged with two counts of first degree murder. Now he has been indicted by a Camden County grand jury and will likely head to trial in Camden County Superior Court.
If the suspect is eventually convicted of first degree murder, he could potentially be sentenced to life in NJ State Prison.
After being arrested and charged, the suspect was remanded to the Camden County Jail in Camden, New Jersey. He was being held at the correctional facility on a massive $2 million bail amount.
