Three men, including two from New Jersey, were recently arrested for allegedly manufacturing and distributing drugs in Camden City, NJ.
According to Camden County prosecutors, the three suspects were arrested after a months-long investigation by members of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Task Force.
At the conclusion of the investigation, police conducted a raid on a shipping business located at 2011 River Road in Camden, New Jersey.
During the raid, police reportedly seized more than $200,000 worth of illegal drugs. Among the drugs allegedly found by police were four pounds of methamphetamine, nearly 2,000 bags of heroin, 11.5 ounces of unpackaged heroin, a vial of liquid Fentanyl, a small amount of cocaine, some pills, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, police officers reportedly seized two loaded large-capacity ammunition magazines.
The three suspects were placed under arrest and charged with a host of crimes, including first degree maintaining a drug production facility, first degree heroin distribution, second degree conspiring to distribute heroin, third degree possession of cocaine, and third degree possession of prescription drugs, in addition to other drug offenses.
The suspects also face fourth degree criminal charges for unlawful possession of a weapon.
One of the suspects is from Camden NJ, the second suspect is from Marlton NJ, and the third suspect is from Philadelphia PA.
After being arrested and processed, the suspects were moved to the Camden County Jail. Their bail amounts total $1.6 million.
Additionally, law enforcement notified Homeland Security because the suspects are believed to have come to the country illegally from the Dominican Republic.
