Police recently arrested a Chesilhurst woman who allegedly possessed 286 bags of heroin while driving through Winslow Township, New Jersey.
The suspect is a 32-year-old female resident of Chesilhurst in Camden County, NJ. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect was driving a black Lexus on Route 73 in Winslow NJ when another motorist became concerned about the suspect’s erratic driving. The other motorist dialed 911 to alert the police.
A short time later, Winslow police officers talked to the suspect in a liquor store parking lot. While speaking with the suspect, cops reportedly noticed a bag of heroin in clear view inside the suspect’s car.
A subsequent search of the motor vehicle allegedly turned up 286 bags of heroin.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin. If the suspect is convicted on the drug crime charges, she could potentially be sentenced to years in state prison.
After being placed under arrest and processed at Winslow Township police headquarters, the suspect was released on her own recognizance. She has a pending court date to answer the very serious criminal charges against her.
