A Clementon New Jersey man has been accused of committing three armed robberies at a Dunkin Donuts in Gloucester Township, NJ.
According to authorities, the 27-year-old suspect held up the Dunkin Donuts located on Blackwood-Clementon Road in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. All of the thefts reportedly occurred in the same week.
The suspect allegedly entered the donut shop on October 28 and flashed a knife at a store employee. The suspect reportedly demanded cash and then fled the scene on foot.
Three days later, during the morning hours on Halloween, the suspect allegedly entered the same Dunkin Donuts and again used a knife to commit a robbery. During the second robbery, the suspect was reportedly wearing a black ski mask and gloves.
A short time later, the suspect allegedly tried to rob the same Dunkin Donuts. After exiting the store, the suspect reportedly ran to his nearby apartment complex. Police officers who were on patrol at the time saw the suspect and began to chase after him. When the suspect arrived at his building, he allegedly jumped onto the second-floor balcony and went inside his apartment.
Gloucester Township police found the suspect in his apartment and placed him under arrest.
Additionally, police arrested three other suspects who were inside the apartment at the time.
The main suspect has been charged with three counts of armed robbery. He also faces charges for unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility. He was being held at the jail on a $750K bail amount.
