Gloucester Township police arrested a man accused of robbing local stores twice in the same week.
According to authorities, the 27-year-old suspect committed two robberies in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
The first armed robbery allegedly occurred on October 28 at a salon in Gloucester Township NJ. The suspect reportedly entered the store and approached an employee. The suspect was allegedly armed with a knife when he demanded that the store worker hand over cash.
Three days later, around 11:00 a.m. on Halloween day, the suspect walked into a Dunkin’ Donuts located on Blackwood-Clementon Road. The suspect was allegedly wearing a black ski mask and brandishing a knife when he moved toward the store employee and demanded cash.
After the theft, the suspect allegedly exited the store and ran toward his apartment in Clementon, New Jersey.
Gloucester Township police officers were on patrol in the area and saw the suspect heading into his apartment complex. The officers chased after the suspect and eventually apprehended him inside his apartment.
The suspect has been charged with three counts of armed robbery. He also faces charges for unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $750K bail.
