Gloucester Township NJ police are looking for a woman who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shoplifting offense.
According to law enforcement, an unidentified female stole an item from the Aquarium Center, a local business located at 1295 Blackwood Clementon Road in Clementon, New Jersey. The incident occurred in early February.
Surveillance video at the store reportedly shows the suspect removing a box from a shelf at the fish and aquarium store. At some point, the suspect moves out of view of the camera, only to return to view a few moments later when she places the box back on the shelf.
Sometime later, store employees found an empty box on the shelf.
The woman has been described as a white female with a small build and light-colored hair. She was wearing a horizontal-striped shirt with a hood, as well as jeans.
According to witnesses, the woman was accompanied by a young girl at the time of the incident. The girl appeared to be roughly 10 years old and was wearing pink pants and an aqua-colored coat.
The Gloucester Township Police Department has asked for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. Anyone with information to share is asked to call the police department’s anonymous tip line at 856-842-5560.
