Cherry Hill NJ police are looking into a recent report that a man was secretly recording people while they used the bathrooms at the Cherry Hill Mall.
Cherry Hill police officers were dispatched to the mall after receiving a call about a man entering the public restrooms at the Cherry Hill Mall and secretly videotaping people. The person who placed the 911 call said that he tried to stop the suspect but was unable to do so.
By the time Cherry Hill NJ cops arrived at the mall, the suspect was already gone.
A captain with the Cherry Hill Township Police Department spoke to the media about the possible sex crime incident and indicated that detectives are conducting an investigation.
Management officials at the Cherry Hill Mall issued a statement about the invasion of privacy allegations and declared that mall security was aware of the police report. Moreover, said Cherry Hill Mall management, mall security is working in tandem with Cherry Hill NJ detectives to investigate the incident and locate the suspect.
