A Sicklerville NJ man was recently sentenced to 31 months in federal prison for selling illegal prescription drugs to an undercover officer.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the 41-year-old suspect used to be employed as a police officer at Richard Stockton College in Galloway, New Jersey. He reportedly resigned from his job in April 2014.

The suspect was eventually placed under arrest and charged with distribution of oxycodone and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone. He later pleaded guilty to the drug charges.
Now the suspect has been sentenced to more than 2 years in federal prison. Additionally, he will be required to serve 3 years of supervised release after his prison term ends. Moreover, he has been ordered to forfeit nearly $9,000 in drug sale proceeds.
