Two brothers from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania have been arrested and charged with armed robbery.
The two men were arrested as a result of an alleged armed robbery of a TD Bank in Woodbury. Police responded to the incident after the suspects had already fled the scene and were initially unable to find them after using several techniques, including a tracking dog. The investigation did however reveal that the alleged suspects were Cornelius and Courtney Horan. After several days of investigation, authorities were finally able to arrest them in Egg Harbor Township and charge them with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Both had extensive criminal histories and are being held in the Salem County Jail. Their mother was also charged for hindering apprehension.
Armed robbery is a first degree crime in New Jersey, the most serious in the Criminal Code. If convicted of this crime, the Horan Brothers could be facing 10 to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison. Since the crime is enumerated under the No Early Release Act, they will have to serve 85 percent of their sentences before they are eligible for parole.
