Carneys Point NJ police recently arrested a Cherry Hill man who allegedly had cocaine and marijuana on his person.
A Carneys Point patrol officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and pulled over the suspect’s car shortly before 8:00 a.m.
The 46-year-old suspect, who lives in Cherry Hill NJ, allegedly had illegal drugs in his car. A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up an unspecified quantity of cocaine and marijuana, as well as drug-related items and other drug paraphernalia.
Police also reportedly learned that the suspect had outstanding warrants out of Washington Township.
The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and taken to Carneys Point police headquarters. He was later charged with a number of drug crimes, including possession of cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, the suspect was cited for several traffic violations and issued summonses.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was released from police custody with pending court dates.
