Police in Evesham Township NJ recently arrested a Sicklerville man for allegedly engaging in prostitution.
After receiving reports of suspicious activity in the area, Evesham Township detectives conducted surveillance at the S&L Wellness Center Massage Parlor located on South Maple Avenue in Marlton, New Jersey.
The investigation into the massage parlor led police to arrest three people on prostitution-related charges.
After conducting surveillance and determining that illegal activity was occurring at the parlor, police arrested the Sicklerville man and two New York women.
One of the women, a 53-year-old Flushing NY residence, was placed under arrest and charged with fourth degree prostitution. The other woman, a 41-year-old from Flushing NY, was arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense.
Shortly after being arrested and processed, the two women were released from police custody on their own recognizance.
The 44-year-old Sicklerville NJ man was also arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution, also known as solicitation. He is accused of obtaining sexual favors in exchange for money.
If the Sicklerville suspect is convicted on the disorderly persons charge, he could be sentenced to up to 6 months in the local county jail.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was released on his own recognizance.
