Police in Winslow Township NJ are searching for a man who allegedly committed a burglary at a local business.
According to law enforcement, the burglary occurred at a business located on Williamstown Road in the Tansboro section of Winslow, New Jersey. The break-in reportedly took place around 11:00 a.m. on September 29.
Winslow NJ police were called to the scene a short time after the theft incident to investigate. Police officers later obtained video surveillance footage that reportedly shows the suspect committing the burglary.
Now authorities have released surveillance photos of the suspect. The suspect can be seen wearing a white shirt and hat as he steals items from the business.
Police have also obtained an image of the suspect’s motor vehicle. However, officials have yet to release that image to the public.
If Winslow Township police can eventually identify and apprehend the suspect, he would likely face serious criminal charges for burglary and theft of movable property. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2, anyone who enters a structure without license to do so can be charged with a third degree felony. A conviction on third degree burglary charges carries a potential sentence of 3-5 years in New Jersey State Prison.
