Police in Cherry Hill New Jersey are searching for suspects in a burglary and theft at a local liquor store.
The burglary occurred at the Cherry Hill Spirits and Liquor Store, which is located on Berlin Road in Cherry Hill, NJ.
At this time, authorities have not revealed much information about the burglary. It is unclear precisely what was stolen from the liquor store.
Cherry Hill police revealed that the suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a newer model gray or tan car.
According to a post on the Cherry Hill Township Police Department Facebook page, law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in the robbery.
If investigators are eventually able to identify and apprehend the suspects, serious criminal charges could follow. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2, burglary is typically classified as a third degree criminal offense. Anyone convicted on third degree burglary charges is subject to a sentence of 3-5 years in New Jersey State Prison, as well as a fine of up to $15,000.
The investigation into the burglary remains active and ongoing. Cherry Hill police have asked members of the public to provide information that might lead to the identification and capture of the suspects.
